Computer Aided Design Technician

My client is looking for an Assistant Design Technician in London to support the current Pre-Con Design Team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Attending Design Workshops
• Producing accurate information based on client/architect requirements
• Producing drawings for our estimating team to support a tender return
• Working closely with the technical team to design bespoke solutions

Requirements:

• The candidate must be experienced in using AutoCAD 2D.
• Confident using Microsoft Office.
• Experience working in construction/fit-out

Desirable:

• Revit/BIM proficiency
• Experience working within the commercial fit-out industry, ideally working on live projects.
• Experience working with one of the following sub-contractors: Glazed Partitions/Joinery/Partitions.
• Presentation skills
• Experience creating specifications
• Experience working with Structural Glazing/Facades
