This is a great opportunity to join an established pharmaceutical company as a Senior Pharmacovigilance Veterinarian in Animal Health. Are you a veterinary surgeon with a passion for pharmacovigilance and a drive to make a real impact in animal health? We’re looking for a Senior Pharmacovigilance Vet (PV) to join a dynamic team within the Animal Health (AH) division of a market leading pharmaceutical company.
In this pivotal role, you’ll support the PV Lead in resourcing and mentoring the PV team, providing expert technical veterinary/PV support while actively contributing to our business objectives through case management of adverse events. You’ll also serve as Deputy Local Person for Pharmacovigilance (LPV), stepping into the LPV role when needed.
In this role you will:
- Support the PV Lead in assessing resource needs and coaching the PV team
- Provide expert veterinary and pharmacovigilance technical support across the business
- Manage adverse event case investigation, recording and assessment, ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal requirements, in collaboration with the PV team
- Collaborate with veterinary services, species teams, and customer-facing functions to ensure accurate case collection and reporting
- Maintain deep technical knowledge of our products and relevant disease areas
- Act as Deputy LPV, assuming full responsibilities in the LPV’s absence

The Person/Experience:
- Proven experience in Animal Health Pharmacovigilance environment
- Excellent planning, prioritisation, and time management skills
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail
- Confident communicator with the ability to influence and build strong working relationships
- Skilled in interpreting scientific and clinical data for diverse stakeholders
- A collaborative team player with a process-oriented approach
- Veterinary degree with a minimum of 2 years clinical experience
- Full UK drivers licence
