With high inflation and rising cost of living figures, a lot of companies are not only feeling “the squeeze”; but are having to make tough decisions in a pursuit of profitability and survival. Yes, times are tough right now and while we, as everyday consumers, may have to be a little patient before things “get back to normal”, my client is already making that a reality for SMEs everywhere.
They are a well funded (in the multi millions of 💵) FinTech startup that is helping businesses stay afloat by providing them with funding to mitigate their short term costs. And they are looking for a CTO to lead them on this journey.
Your mission should you accept it:
- Establishing and iterating on the technical vision for their product in collaboration with current client partners
- Leading on all technology decisions to ensure that they comply with regulations and are proactive for data protection and security
- Defining and monitoring the metrics of quality, efficiency & excellence for the software engineering teams
- Establishing an inclusive and progressive culture for the software engineering function, as well as the wider company, together with the leadership team
