Job Description
Ringway are looking for a Street Cleansing Contract & Performance Manager to join our team delivering a vital service on a high-profile highways contract. In this key leadership role, you'll be responsible for managing the daily operations of our street cleansing teams, ensuring the service meets performance, safety, and environmental standards across the network.
About the role:
- Lead and manage day-to-day street cleansing operations across the contract.
- Promote a proactive health, safety, and environmental culture within the team.
- Plan and deliver scheduled and reactive cleansing works, including out-of-hours activity.
- Set clear performance expectations and monitor delivery against contractual KPIs.
- Work collaboratively with client and stakeholder teams to improve service outcomes.
- Ensure fleet, depot and plant resources are well managed and compliant.
- Support and lead sustainability initiatives, including recycling and carbon reduction.
- Develop and deliver operational strategies in line with business goals.
- Lead team development through training, recruitment and performance management.
- Produce reports and maintain accurate records to support performance reviews.
What Weβre Looking For:
- Experience managing street cleansing, highways maintenance, or a similar operational environment.
- Strong leadership and people management skills with a hands-on approach.
