Saisei Talent is delighted to be exclusively partnering with one of the world’s most imaginative and people-driven creative agencies to find their next HR Business Partner. This is a business in the midst of creative brilliance, cultural evolution, and bold transformation. Following a recent acquisition, the London office — 50-strong and fiercely collaborative — needs a hands-on, heart-led HRBP to help integrate two businesses and cultures. You’ll lead initiatives from systems integration to performance transformation, embedding a people-first experience aligned with the agency’s ambitions. Reporting to the SVP HR in NYC and working closely with the London leadership team, you’ll help define what great looks like from the ground up.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Lead the UK migration to our global HRIS (UKG), ensuring data accuracy, training, and adoption.
  • Standardise contracts, benefits, and HR processes across legacy and acquired teams.
  • Align onboarding and offboarding processes, managing documentation for compliance and consistency.
  • Own and maintain employee records and data reporting.
  • Serve as the primary contact for employee queries and first-line support on ER issues.
  • Manage conflict resolution, redundancies, grievances, and performance concerns.
  • Ensure compliance with UK employment law, including contract updates and upcoming legislation.
  • Partner with leadership to balance legacy practices with emerging standards.
  • Consolidate two performance systems into a unified, feedback-driven framework.
  • Coach managers on development conversations and reviews.
  • Maintain culture focus, preserving unique team qualities while building a cohesive employee experience.
  • Implement engagement initiatives, conduct employee surveys, and translate feedback into actionable insights.
  • Lead strategic, high-impact hiring across various roles, managing job specs, sourcing, onboarding, and candidate experience.
  • Advise on inclusive hiring practices reflecting the agency’s values and pace.

Minimum requirements:

  • Solid background in HR, with experience in a standalone or generalist HRBP role.
  • Proven experience managing change, ambiguity, and integration processes.
  • Strong knowledge of UK employment law, contracts, and compliance.
  • Skilled across the employee lifecycle: hiring, onboarding, payroll support, ER, and performance management.
  • Familiarity with HR systems; UKG experience is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills, calm under pressure, credible with creatives and leadership alike.
  • An understanding of the creative industry’s energy, informality, and fast pace.

This is your opportunity to lead with heart and head, shaping a people experience where creativity and culture thrive together. If this resonates with you, we’d love to hear from you.
