Director Clinical Development - Pediatric Hepatology

Our client is a major international business which is looking for a Director Clinical Development to further develop an exciting liver disease pipeline. The role will be based in the London area but hybrid working is offered.

The company is a leading European business with a long history of developing medicines to meet unmet need. They are looking for a pediatric hepatologist ideally with clinical research experience in industry but will consider a physician looking to move into biotech.

The Clinical Development Director will:

• Lead global clinical development operations.
• Develop asset teams for new compound uses.
• Provide medical/scientific input on product data.
• Lead the Clinical Development sub-team.
• Ensure compliance with GCP and ethical guidelines.
• Manage cross-functional relationships.
• Support multiple indications globally.

Education & Experience:

• Medical degree (MD) or equivalent in life sciences.
• Minimum 10 years of industry experience.
• Experience in pharmaceutical drug development.
• Rare disease or hepatology experience preferred.
• Proven leadership in projects and teams.
