Stoke City Football Club of the English Football League is looking for a Women’s and Girls’ Secretary and Operations Officer to support its operations at the Clayton Wood Training Ground. Reporting into our Women’s and Girls’ Performance Director, the successful applicant will be responsible for the planning and delivery of all administrative, contractual and logistical support within the Stoke City Women’s Team and Girls’ Academy.
Main Responsibilities:
- Administrating, processing and submitting all player registrations to the league.
- Managing the onboarding process to ensure accurate player data and record keeping.
- Assisting with the booking of travel and accommodation for players and staff as required.
- Administrating match official’s payments and supporting the department with petty cash needs.
- Collating and verifying monthly staff salary and expense claims for authorisation by the Women’s and Girls’ Performance Director.
- Administrating game programmes for all teams and communicating to relevant stakeholders.
- Executing additional tasks as required in order to meet any changing priorities for the Stoke City Women’s Team and Girls’ Academy.
Key Skills, Qualifications and Experience:
- Experience operating and/or administrating in an elite sports environment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Experience in checking reports and compliance.
- Excellent organisational skills with an ability to multitask.
- Effective communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines and deliver high quality output.
The ideal candidate will be available to work evenings and weekends to cover matchday fixtures and other ad hoc events at the bet365 Stadium. The position will be offered on a full-time permanent basis. All relevant training will be provided.
