Our client is an established provider of powered access and other hire equipment across the central region of England and is requiring an engineer to service and maintain powered access equipment and conduct LOLER examinations. It would be desirable for the engineer to have CAP qualification but it is not essential.
Powered Access Engineer Position Overview- Maintaining, servicing and examining powered access equipment
- This role is a mobile role based out of the depot in Bedford
- Onsite LOLER examinations and small repairs
- Covering the delivery area predominantly London and central England
- Ongoing support development of your career
- Keeping service and maintenance records up to date
- Adhere to health and safety guidelines in the workshop and on site
- Coordinate repairs and maintenance work
- Experience and knowledge in a similar role would be beneficial
- The ideal candidate will have experience within the access, crane, forklift or motor industry along with a mechanical, hydraulic, or electrical background.
- It would be a benefit if the candidate was CAP trained or equivalent in order to carry out six monthly inspections but this isnβt essential.
- IPAF CAP training desirable but not essential
- UK driving licence essential
- Willing to travel for the role
- Β£40,000-Β£50,000 salary dependent on experience
- 40-hour week (Flexible working week)
