£12.21 – £13.50 per hour (DOE)

IMMEDIATE STARTS

Monday to Friday 45 hours per week!

We are currently seeking a qualified and experienced Horticultural Sprayer to join our well established client based on the outskirts of Ashford, Kent. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for plant health and the outdoors, and a strong understanding of safe pesticide application.

Duties for this role include:

Carrying out targeted spraying of pesticides, herbicides, and fungicides in line with current legislation and safety protocols
Monitoring plant health and identifying pest or disease issues
Maintaining accurate application records
Safely operating and maintaining spraying equipment
Adhering to COSHH and environmental regulations
Working closely with horticultural and grounds teams

To be considered for this role, you must have/be:

PA1 and PA6 certification (essential)
Prior experience in a similar horticultural or grounds maintenance role
Good knowledge of plant pests, diseases, and appropriate treatments
Physically fit and able to work outdoors in all weather
Strong attention to detail and commitment to health & safety
PA2 qualification (preferred but not essential)
Driving licence
Experience working in estates, parks, nurseries, or commercial horticulture settings (preferred but not essential)
