We are currently seeking a qualified and experienced Horticultural Sprayer to join our well established client based on the outskirts of Ashford, Kent. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for plant health and the outdoors, and a strong understanding of safe pesticide application.
Duties for this role include:
- Carrying out targeted spraying of pesticides, herbicides, and fungicides in line with current legislation and safety protocols
- Monitoring plant health and identifying pest or disease issues
- Maintaining accurate application records
- Safely operating and maintaining spraying equipment
- Adhering to COSHH and environmental regulations
- Working closely with horticultural and grounds teams
To be considered for this role, you must have/be:
- PA1 and PA6 certification (essential)
- Prior experience in a similar horticultural or grounds maintenance role
- Good knowledge of plant pests, diseases, and appropriate treatments
- Physically fit and able to work outdoors in all weather
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to health & safety
- PA2 qualification (preferred but not essential)
- Driving licence
- Experience working in estates, parks, nurseries, or commercial horticulture settings (preferred but not essential)
