We are looking for a passionate and guest focused Banqueting Head Chef to join our incredible Banqueting Kitchen team at Pan Pacific London. JOB SUMMARY

As Banqueting Head Chef overseeing multi-outlet operations, you will lead the culinary strategy, quality, and execution across diverse areas including Meetings & Events, Afternoon Tea Savoury, Ginger Lily Bar Food, and the Staff Canteen. This role demands strong operational oversight, creative menu development tailored to each outlet, and seamless coordination with front-of-house and support teams. You will drive consistency in food quality, presentation, and hygiene while optimising kitchen efficiency, cost control, and team development across varied culinary environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and coordinate multiple kitchen teams, ensuring each outlet delivers high-quality, on-brand food experiences.
  • Develop bespoke menus suited to each outlet's concept and guest profile, in collaboration with the Executive Chef and Director of Food and Beverage.
  • Monitor and manage food cost, labour, and production efficiency across all outlets with the Banqueting Kitchen budget.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene standards (HACCP/ISO), and allergen policies across the board.
  • Foster cross-training and career development among chefs to build a versatile and motivated team.
  • Act as a key bridge between culinary and operational departments to support commercial goals and guest satisfaction.
  • Be aware of current culinary trends and kitchen sustainability, where possible, use seasonal and sustainable ingredients to elevate dining experiences.
  • Be responsible for the quality and presentation of all food leaving the Kitchen.
  • Establish and build strong inter-departmental relationships.
  • Implement stringent quality control measures to uphold the highest standards of food quality, taste, and presentation, maintaining our prestigious Five Star Food Hygiene rating.
