WRS - Worldwide Recruitment Solutions are looking for a HSE Specialist to join our Offshore client based in the UK on a full time permanent basis.
Location: Middlesbrough, UK (with travel required)
Start Date: ASAP
Employment Type: Full-time (5 days/week, hybrid flexibility)
About the Role: We are seeking a self-driven and hands-on HSE Specialist to join our team. This is not a passive oversight role — we’re looking for someone who thrives in operational environments and is ready to go above and beyond typical expectations. You’ll be working closely with our new builds, barge modifications, and supporting documentation for our offshore assets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide HSE support across new builds and barge modification projects
- Travel to project sites regularly to ensure compliance and support operations
- Work closely with the UK-based QHSE managers and project teams
- Assist in preparation and review of HSE documentation and procedures
- Contribute actively to promoting a culture of safety and operational excellence
Who We’re Looking For:
- Preferably from an operational background with offshore experience
- Ideally someone who has worked offshore in cable operations and then transitioned into HSE
- UK-based, ideally living within driving distance of Middlesbrough
- Practical, proactive, and team-oriented
