People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Class 1 Driver to join our well-established client based in the Moreton Valence, Gloucestershire area. This is a fantastic opportunity offering great rates of pay.

Rates of Pay:
Basic: £17.30 per hour guaranteed 9 hours
Overtime after 9.5 hours: £25.95 per hour
Day to Day Duties:
- Delivering Forklifts to clients
- Operate and drive various Class 1 vehicles in a safe and efficient manner to and from delivery locations
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Ensure all cargo is loaded and secured properly - full training will be given.
- Adhere to traffic laws and regulations
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers
- Report any vehicle defects or maintenance needs to management
- Assist with loading and unloading of cargo as needed - full training will be given.
Essential Skills:
- Hold a valid UK Category CE Licence
- Have a minimum of 24 months experience driving CE vehicles, no more than 6 month break.
- No more than six penalty points for minor infringements and no major endorsement codes
- Have a valid UK CPC Card & UK Digi Card
- Must be able to speak and read a good level of English
- Punctuality and excellent time keeping skills
- Have a good understanding of traffic laws and regulations
- Effective communication skills
Training:
Driver's Assessment will have to be completed. After successful Assessment, you will have 4-5 shifts with experienced driver before going out on your own.
