Role Overview

As the first point of contact for customers visiting or calling the dealership, the Receptionist plays a vital role in shaping the customer’s first impression of West London Volvo. This role requires a warm, approachable, and professional individual who can handle a variety of administrative and customer-facing responsibilities with confidence and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet customers and visitors in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Answer incoming calls promptly, transferring them to the appropriate department or taking accurate messages.
  • Manage the dealership’s front desk and waiting area, ensuring it is tidy, presentable, and stocked with relevant literature.
  • Book and confirm appointments for the sales and service departments as needed.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing mail, deliveries, and other correspondence.
  • Provide refreshments for waiting customers and notify relevant staff of customer arrivals.
  • Assist with general administrative duties such as filing, scanning, and updating customer records.
  • Support the Sales, Aftersales, and Management teams with ad hoc tasks when required.

Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience in a front-of-house or customer service role preferred (automotive industry experience is a plus).
