We are looking for an experienced senior Head of Performance Marketing (Head of Digital Marketing) to drive marketing and digital effectiveness, across all channels, with a focus on maximising Return On Investment (ROI). This senior role will lead the digital marketing team including: CRM, social media, paid advertising, data and analytics, and web; while taking accountability for ensuring the overall effectiveness of the entire marketing function.
The successful candidate will be tasked with delivering high levels of ROI from marketing efforts. This will include providing insights and using advanced data analytics to inform marketing strategies and decision-making as well as fostering a data-driven culture within the marketing team to drive continuous improvement. This is a global role, and you will sit on the Marketing Leadership Team.
Key accountabilities:
- Develop and deliver effective global digital marketing strategies focused on maximising ROI, reducing the cost of acquiring new leads while maintaining quality; utilising data and analytics to identify the most cost-effective marketing channels and tactics.
- Optimise the allocation of budgets and resources and continuously evaluate and refine marketing tactics to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Provide actionable insights and recommendations based on data analysis to improve marketing performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and optimise the lead generation process.
- Establish clear metrics and KPIs to measure digital marketing performance across all channels, implementing robust tracking systems to monitor the ongoing effectiveness of marketing campaigns & channels.
- Analyse performance data to identify trends, insights, and areas for improvement, providing regular reports and updates to key stakeholders, highlighting key performance indicators and actionable insights.
- Utilise advanced data analytics to inform marketing strategies and decision-making and foster a data-driven culture within the digital marketing team to drive continuous improvement.
- Lead the digital marketing team: CRM, social media, paid advertising, data & analytics, and web ensuring seamless integration across all digital channels to maximise effectiveness and ROI.
- Create a collaborative and innovative team environment focused on continuous improvement and integration, driving AI and innovation to enhance marketing capabilities and performance.
Skills and Experience:
- Minimum of 15 years experience in performance marketing & digital marketing, preferably in a global business ideally within the following sectors: Consumer Services, Retail, Luxury, Leisure, Travel, Hotel Groups.
- Proficiency in marketing tools and platforms (e.g. PowerBi, Google Analytics, CRM systems, social media management tools).
- Sharp commercial acumen, with the ability to swiftly translate data and insight into effective marketing strategies/outputs.
