Our client is a boutique wealth manager in the heart of the City, looking for a reliable and experienced accounting professional to oversee the Finance and Accounting advisory service for their client base.
What you’ll be doing day to day:

Preparing tax and VAT returns
-
Ad hoc administrative jobs, including registration for HMRC services like PAYE, self-assessment, VAT and company registration

Assisting with the preparation and maintenance of financial records
-
Performing account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
-
Assisting in completing Year-end financial accounts for most business types, including sole proprietors and limited companies

Assisting in preparing tax returns, including Personal Self-Assessment, Partnership, and CT600 returns
-
Liaising with HMRC on clients’ behalf and advising clients on any investigations

Ensuring that all deadlines are met

Direct client advisory on payroll and VAT matters
Do you have qualified accountancy experience within financial services?
Do you hold a professional accounting qualification and have excellent knowledge of accounting regulations, principles and procedures within the investment space?
Are you familiar with preparing tax returns and Personal Self-Assessments for a range of clients?, * Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CTA, ATT)
