Our client is a boutique wealth manager in the heart of the City, looking for a reliable and experienced accounting professional to oversee the Finance and Accounting advisory service for their client base.

What you’ll be doing day to day:

  • Preparing tax and VAT returns

  • Ad hoc administrative jobs, including registration for HMRC services like PAYE, self-assessment, VAT and company registration

  • Assisting with the preparation and maintenance of financial records

  • Performing account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies

  • Assisting in completing Year-end financial accounts for most business types, including sole proprietors and limited companies

  • Assisting in preparing tax returns, including Personal Self-Assessment, Partnership, and CT600 returns

  • Liaising with HMRC on clients’ behalf and advising clients on any investigations

  • Ensuring that all deadlines are met

  • Direct client advisory on payroll and VAT matters

Do you have qualified accountancy experience within financial services?

Do you hold a professional accounting qualification and have excellent knowledge of accounting regulations, principles and procedures within the investment space?

Are you familiar with preparing tax returns and Personal Self-Assessments for a range of clients?, * Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CTA, ATT)

  • Proven experience as an Accountant or in a similar role

  • Knowledge of accounting principles and regulations

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office
