Reports to: Head of Sales

Salary: Circa £30,000 - £35,000 per annum, depending on experience

Position type: Permanent

Location: Hybrid, UK Remote-first, with occasional requirement to attend Head Office based in Farnborough, Hampshire

Working hours: Full time

Role overview

As a PASS Sales Consultant, you will play a key role in driving business growth by identifying opportunities and guiding prospects through their buying journey. You will use a consultative approach to understand the unique needs of each prospect, positioning our solutions in a way that clearly addresses their challenges and goals. With a genuine interest in SaaS and how technology can drive positive change in the care sector, you'll confidently demonstrate the value of our platform and services.

You will proactively generate and manage outbound leads—including cold calling through our existing prospect base—support inbound enquiries, and ensure a smooth and professional sales process from initial engagement to close. Beyond direct sales, you'll contribute to wider revenue-driving activities such as marketing campaigns, webinars, and industry events, while collaborating closely with colleagues across Revenue, Account Management, and Product teams to maximise success and continuously improve our go-to-market efforts.

Core responsibilities

  • Lead management and sales delivery
  • Support the Sales Support Executive by engaging promptly with inbound enquiries to qualify and advance leads efficiently.
  • Manage opportunities through the full sales cycle, applying effective sales techniques to maximise win rates and deal value.
  • Leverage internal expertise and resources to enhance sales success.
  • Outbound sales and campaigns
  • Conduct cold calling through the existing prospect base to generate a sustainable pipeline.
  • Work with marketing to execute targeted outreach campaigns.
  • Research and build relationships with key stakeholders to expand market reach.
  • Take ownership of individual sales campaigns within assigned segments.
  • Events and engagement
  • Represent PASS at large industry events and drive on-stand activities.
  • Ensure timely and strategic follow-ups on all event-generated leads.
  • Cross-team collaboration and growth initiatives
  • Work closely with Revenue, Account Management and Product teams to align efforts and support business growth.
  • Contribute sales insights to enhance product development and market strategy.
  • Performance tracking and continuous improvement
  • Prepare regular sales reports and performance insights for the Head of Sales.
  • Analyse sales data to identify trends and refine strategies.
  • Provide data-driven recommendations to improve team efficiency and outcomes.
  • Team contribution & professional growth
  • Actively participate in Revenue team projects and initiatives.
  • Drive continuous improvement by sharing insights and innovative ideas.
  • Maintain accurate records of activities and progress in CRM and reporting systems.
  • Develop and deliver 90 day plans to support your career development.

Qualifications and experience

You have:

  • 1-2 years of success in internal sales or business development.
  • A solid grasp of consultative selling approaches, with the ability to tailor conversations and solutions to the needs of each prospect.
  • A proactive attitude toward opportunity follow-up, with a strong focus on progressing and converting leads.
  • Proven skills in objection handling, negotiation, and closing deals.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications and CRM systems.

You may have:

  • Good understanding of the UK care sector and its challenges.
  • In-depth knowledge of care delivery and the UK health and care landscape.
  • Experience using Salesforce CRM and LinkedIn Sales Navigator to drive sales.
  • Background in value-based selling and strategic negotiation.
