About The Service

Cardiff Council is looking to recruit an experienced individual to lead and motivate a team of Visiting Officers, managing cases within the Council Housing Stock.

About the job

You will lead and motivate a team of Visiting Officers and Right Sizing Officer responsible for providing a high-quality tenancy service for leased and council properties. Ensuring that an effective customer service is provided and that proactive measures are taken to ensure that tenants receive the correct advice relating to their tenancy including succession rights, tenancy assignments and community transfers in accordance with the Renting Homes (Wales) Act 2016.

What We Are Looking For From You

  • You will have strong leadership skills, experience of working within a housing related environment including experience of providing a housing management service.
  • You will have exceptional communication skills, be able to work on your own initiative and have a commitment to meeting customer needs.
