The Role: As the E-commerce Manager, you will be responsible for optimising our website to drive traffic, increasing conversion rates, and enhance user experience. You’ll lead the execution of digital merchandising strategies, identify opportunities to boost sales performance, and continually refine the customer journey through data-driven decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own and manage the day-to-day operations of the e-commerce website.
  • Implement and oversee CRO initiatives, using A/B testing, analytics, and UX best practices to improve site performance.
  • Develop and execute online merchandising strategies to maximise product visibility and sales.
  • Collaborate with marketing and product teams to support campaigns and product launches.
  • Monitor and report on key performance metrics (conversion rate, bounce rate, average order value, etc.).
  • Work with developers and UX designers to implement design improvements and feature enhancements.
  • Ensure the website is optimised for all devices, especially mobile.
  • Conduct regular competitor analysis and stay up-to-date with e-commerce trends.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience managing e-commerce websites, ideally within a high-growth or retail environment.
  • Strong understanding of CRO principles and tools (e.g., Google Optimize, Hotjar, Optimizely).
  • Experience in digital merchandising and product presentation techniques.
  • Solid knowledge of UX/UI principles and responsive design.
