Teaching Assistant

A small and friendly Primary school based in Tunbridge Wells is looking for a strong Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistant to join their team. The role is full-time starting January 6th 2025 and ending February 14th 2025. The school aims to aspire for excellence in every area, enabling children to flourish and fulfil their potential, leaving them as well-rounded and confident individuals.

Key responsibilities as a Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistant:

• Providing one-on-one or small group support to students who may need additional help.
• Ensuring that students stay focused and engaged in lessons.
• Setting up classroom resources, materials, and activities before lessons.
• Assisting teachers with assessing students' work and providing feedback.
• Assisting with promoting children's well-being and safeguarding.

Requirements as a Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistant:

• Knowledge of the Key Stage 2 curriculum.
• Hold the right to work in the UK.
• Have an enhanced DBS certificate on the update service or be happy to apply.
• Relevant experience in the industry.
• Be able to provide two references within the last 2 years.
