The Role Reporting to the Head of Customer Finance, this is a critical, highly visible & commercially focused role responsible for my client’s risk management and account opening processes. Through operating and developing existing credit risk management techniques, the role will help to protect the company’s bottom line profit. Key Responsibilities Management of the Risk Team (4), preventing unnecessary risks or excessive exposures being incurred by ensuring all regulatory, reputational and financial risks are thoroughly reviewed to set appropriate terms through credit limits or pro forma. Management of the Risk Administration Team, which is responsible for all account set up and master data management of both the customer and supplier accounts. Conducting frequent UK wide customer visits (ROI and Europe periodically) to gain an overview of the specific business, build the relationship and when required, manage accounts in arrears. Continuously investigate and review processes with a view to streamlining and improving turnaround times throughout the work stream which encompasses the commercial teams, operations and finance.
