We are partnered with a leading international IoT service provider experiencing rapid growth and backed by significant private equity investment. Through strategic acquisitions, they continue to expand their market-leading position, their solutions are trusted across multiple countries including the UK, Ireland, the Nordics, Benelux, and Spain.
With major multi-million pound projects securing the future of the business for the next several years, we are looking for a Head of Delivery to lead the company's largest revenue generating team.
Reporting directly to the Director of Engineering, you will be pivotal in shaping architecture, optimising SRE practices, and enhancing the technical program management. You will bridge current gaps and drive significant improvements across functions.
Responsibilities:- Oversee the implementation of CI/CD pipelines, CI/CD tooling, automation, cost management, monitoring and reliability.
- Oversee the implementation of QA practices to enable high uptime, performance, reliability and security.
- Technical Program Management: Manage backlogs, committed plans, and the entire flow of work, ensuring alignment and efficiency across engineering initiatives.
- Technically aware and able to effectively guide, question, and challenge technical teams. You won't be writing code daily, but you'll be hands-on in understanding operations.
- Experience with Azure is essential.
- Demonstrable ability to drive CI/CD maturity and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) initiatives.
- Experience in centralizing and optimising QA and DevOps functions.
- An understanding of software engineering is beneficial.
