Our client is a leading provider of mechanical, electrical and plumbing building services. They are currently looking for a Service Coordinator to be based at their site in North Shields for a 12 month contract.

The Role of the Service Coordinator

The Service Co-Ordinator serves as a key point of contact for clients while coordinating a team of service engineers, managing schedules, and handling changing priorities. Other responsibilities include:

  • Efficiently plan and schedule service engineers, ensuring accurate job reports and certifications are promptly issued to clients.
  • Ensure all parts are ordered and available prior to scheduling engineer visits.
  • Prepare client quotations and develop RAMS for projects.
  • Perform administrative tasks such as generating management reports and assisting the Service Director with internal and external audits.

About You

As the Service Co-Ordinator, you will bring a proven track record of success in a similar role, with exceptional organisational and multitasking abilities. Other requirements include:

  • Business Admin level 3 or equivalent.
  • 2-3 years proven experience within a Construction or Building Services environment is essential.
  • Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in using scheduling and CRM software.
