A Highways Electrician is required to work in a field-based capacity in and around the Devon area. This role involves conducting inspection, testing, and maintenance on a variety of electrical street furniture equipment.

Ideally, candidates will have a background in roadside technology with experience in:

  • Street lighting
  • RTIP
  • Traffic signals
  • ANPR

However, we welcome applicants with any electrical background who are willing to work on roadside technologies.

Skills and Experience:

  • Previous experience with the installation and maintenance of street furniture (highly beneficial)
  • Electrical/electronic experience and qualifications (C&G 2365, 2391, BS7671, etc.)
  • Willingness to work in a field-based capacity or with roadside assets
  • Current G39, HERS8, NRSWA, NHSS8 qualification (highly desirable)
  • Full driver's licence
