Development Engineer Rugeley Duties Development and testing of electrical, electronic and electro-mechanical systems. Undertaking systems development testing and engineering related tasks in support of projects. Design and development of system test suits. Conducting development and qualification testing. Schematic and design capture. Component selection, advice and review. Undertake reasonable tasks as directed by the engineering and project functions. Undertake engineering tasks as required by the project and the business in support of projects and programmes. Undertake testing and laboratory testing of products. Participate in internal and external meetings as required by the business. Document appropriately the work and activities undertaken in line with local operating procedures. Occasional attendance and support of on-site commissioning or trials activities. This may require overseas travel. Skills & Knowledge Application of skills and knowledge appropriate to the development of electronic / electrical / mechanical systems in support of the development and support of products.
