We are seeking a Civils Project Manager to join our team to manage the construction of civil engineering projects which cover renewable energy, highways, and marine, throughout the North of Scotland.
You will be responsible for all aspects of project planning, execution and delivery, ensuring that projects are completed safely, on time, within budget and to the required standards. The ideal candidate will have the ability to successfully manage and effectively lead multidisciplinary project teams.
Key Responsibilities & Requirements- Qualified to HND or Degree level in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related discipline
- Strong experience in civil engineering projects, preferably in renewable energy infrastructure, highways, or marine construction delivering projects exceeding £10m in value
- Good working knowledge of NEC3/4 contracts
- Experience with MS Project
- Valid UK driving licence and willingness to travel to remote sites
- A sound technical knowledge of civil engineering principles, practices and standards
- A good understanding of health, safety and environmental legislation
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, sub-contractors, suppliers, stakeholders and authorities
- Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures to mitigate risks and ensure a safe working environment for all project personnel
- Familiarity with MCHW or National Grid specifications
- Knowledge of Scottish civil engineering sector
- Experience working in remote or island locations
