Their team are motivated and committed to innovation. The Role As an Engineering Manager, you will lead a team of senior developers, overseeing the assignment and delivery of engineering projects. Your leadership will ensure that projects are delivered on time, meet customer expectations, and uphold our high-quality standards. Key Responsibilities : Team Leadership : Lead, mentor, and manage a team of senior developers to achieve peak performance. Project Management : Collaborate with the PM to assign tasks, set priorities, and manage workloads effectively. Delivery Oversight : Ensure all engineering work is delivered on time and meets customer expectations and quality standards. Stakeholder Communication : Serve as the main liaison between the engineering team and other stakeholders, including PMs and executives. Performance Management : Conduct regular performance reviews, provide constructive feedback, and support career development for team members. Process Improvement : Continuously refine engineering processes and practices to enhance efficiency and product quality. About You Our client is looking for a seasoned Engineering Manager with a proven track record in leading and managing high-performing engineering teams. Qualifications and Skills : Technical Expertise : Strong background in software development in particular in the Backend technical space that includes Python, Django, Restful services and GraphQL Educational Background : Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred. Leadership Skills : Proven experience in managing and mentoring senior developers. Communication Skills : Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively liaise with stakeholders and team members.
