The Role
Do you have hands-on experience with power distribution systems? Ready to lead complex electrical projects from design to delivery? We're looking for an experienced Power Distribution Engineer to join our team in Abercarn. This role will suit someone who is confident in project delivery, electrical analysis, and managing teams on varied, high-impact infrastructure projects.
You'll be responsible for the design, management, and improvement of power distribution systems across our client sites. This includes ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in line with safety and compliance standards. You'll also liaise with customers and internal teams to ensure work is transparent, efficient, and meets technical expectations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design and upgrade 12kV power distribution systems
- Conduct system analysis and produce technical recommendations
- Lead site surveys and manage on-site installation teams
- Coordinate preventative maintenance programmes
- Supervise substation primary plant design
- Carry out troubleshooting and fault investigations
- Produce project reports and technical documentation
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations

- Degree in Electrical Engineering (Chartered Engineer status desirable)
