About the Role:

Our client is seeking a passionate and experienced Senior Climate and Sustainability Analyst to join their dynamic team. Based in Saltaire or from another UK office (with occasional travel to Saltaire), the role involves contributing to impactful work in decarbonisation, climate change resilience, natural capital, catchment resilience, and social value. You will play a key role in developing and communicating net zero strategies, calculating carbon footprints for infrastructure and other projects, and helping expand and evolve sustainability services. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, collaborative, and eager to shape innovative solutions to the climate crisis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement net zero and decarbonisation strategies.
  • Contribute to wider climate change and sustainability projects.
  • Manage projects and client contracts, including proposal and tender preparation.
  • Produce technical reports and engaging presentations.
  • Contribute to best practice sharing and continuous service innovation.

What Our Client is Looking For:

Essential:

  • Strong understanding of carbon management and conversion factors.
  • Effective stakeholder engagement and facilitation skills.
  • Knowledge of climate mitigation, adaptation, and resilience.
  • Clear verbal and written communication skills.
  • Collaborative and team-oriented approach.

Desirable:

  • Familiarity with UN Sustainable Development Goals.
  • Interest in circular economy and resource efficiency.
  • Membership of IEMA or equivalent professional body.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in a relevant subject (e.g. environmental science, sustainability consultancy, carbon management). Chartered or working towards chartered status with a relevant body (e.g. IEMA, CIWEM).
