Salary: £36,000-£40,000 + Benefits and Career opportunities
Hours: 7:30am-4:30pm Monday-Thursday. 7:30am-1:30pm Friday.
Location: Commutable from Camberley, Yateley, Reading, Basingstoke, Woking, Aldershot, Guildford and surrounding areas.
Company: We are currently recruiting for a Quality Inspector/CMM Programmer to join a growing Aerospace Manufacturing organisation based near Camberley. You will benefit from joining this small but knowledgeable team who work closely to support a fast-paced environment. Working in a small team of Quality Inspectors, the CMM Programmer will help to grow, develop and lead the team. Utilising their experience to knowledge-share with more junior members and elevate their skillsets. In return you will be given a platform to enact meaningful change and gain real recognition for your efforts, which could eventually lead into a supervisory/management position. This is a fast-paced precision manufacturing environment where each small improvement can have a real impact on the performance and success of the business. If you have a background in Quality Inspection and programming CMMs with PC-DMIS, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
- Develop and create CMM programs to a high standard.
- Conduct and complete FAIRs.
- Manual inspection of less-complex parts.
- Your main and primary role is supporting production with all inspection activities ensuring a good throughput by utilising both manual and CMM inspection techniques.
Requirements:
- Quality Inspection, ideally within an Aerospace environment.
- CMM Programming experience, using PC-DMIS.
- Good attention to detail.
- Previous experience with FAIRs desirable.
- Good interpersonal skills with the ability to mentor more junior members of staff.
- Friendly and adaptable with the ability to work well as part of a close-knit team.
