As Tax Manager, you will take ownership of the group's global indirect tax compliance and advisory matters, with a particular focus on International VAT. This is an opportunity to step beyond the traditional compliance cycle and play a key role in driving efficiency, managing risk, and supporting the business as it expands its international footprint.
Key Responsibilities- Act as the in-house subject matter expert on International VAT across multiple jurisdictions.
- Lead on VAT compliance, reporting, and registration matters across EMEA, APAC and the Americas.
- Work closely with global finance teams, external advisors, and internal stakeholders to ensure robust tax governance.
- Monitor changes in global indirect tax legislation and assess the impact on the business.
- Provide strategic input into systems, controls and process improvements relating to tax.
- Support on wider direct tax matters, including corporate tax compliance and audit support where required.
- Ideally, a qualified tax professional (ACA, ACCA, CTA or equivalent) with a strong background in indirect tax.
- Proven experience in international VAT, ideally gained in a large corporate or professional services environment.
- Strong technical knowledge and a commercial mindset - able to balance risk with opportunity.
- Exceptional communication skills and the confidence to influence at all levels.
- A collaborative and proactive approach to problem-solving.
