At Clarus Education, we are working with an FE College who are seeking to appoint a Chef for Professional Cookery Lecturer based in Hayes. We are seeking a full time Lecturer to join the Cookery & Hospitality team, based in Hayes. You would teach across a variety of Hospitality programmes including VRQs/NVQs in Professional Cookery from Level 1 to Level 3, and Apprenticeship Standards – Level 2 Production Chef, Level 2 Commis Chef and Level 3 Chef De Partie. The section has a restaurant (Revisco) that is open to the general public.
You will need to be qualified to Level 3 in Catering/Cookery, with experience of teaching and in the subject area and experience of being a Chef in the Catering/Hospitality industry. You will have excellent communication skills and the ability to engage and inspire young learners aged 16-18. You will either possess or be willing to obtain a Level 5 teaching qualification, which the College will support financially in full over the two-year period of the course.

- Level 5 teaching qualification recognised by the FE sector (DET or equivalent) or willingness and ability to work towards a Level 5 FE teaching qualification, supported by the College
