About the Role

Due to the ongoing success and growth of one of our clients, they are seeking a Driver Training Manager to lead on the induction and training of new staff as well as supporting the transport department with general compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Vehicle Safety & Compliance: Daily Vehicle Inspections, Load Security, Maintenance Reporting
  • Regulatory Adherence & Driver Oversight: Tachograph Compliance, Infringement Retraining
  • Driver Development & Training: Onboarding Management, Assessment & Induction
  • Safety Leadership & Incident Management: Incident Investigation, Safety Promotion
  • Policy Development & Communication: Documentation

What We're Looking For:

  • Previous experience working in a similar role as a driver trainer with continued passion and desire to support others in the industry
  • In-depth understanding of tachograph regulations and Working Time Directive (WTD) compliance.
  • Class 1 driving licence, with previous experience driving commercial vehicles.
  • Proficient in vehicle checks and defect reporting procedures.
  • Strong planning and organisational abilities, with the capability to make sound decisions and perform effectively under pressure.
