KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- SRS Strategy Development & Delivery
- Lead Sustainability and Responsible Sourcing agenda, including implementation and development of the Sustainability and Responsible Sourcing Strategy, meeting set milestones and measurable outcomes.
- Oversee the continued improvement and alignment of the Responsible Sourcing Programme.
- Work with the Senior Counsel on the regulatory developments relevant to Sustainability and Responsible Sourcing.
- Provide guidance and strategic direction.
- Press and Public Relations
- Serve as a primary spokesperson on Responsible Sourcing and Sustainability matters.
- Lead on annual Sustainability reporting and direct the communication strategy for all Sustainability and Responsible Sourcing (SRS) initiatives.
- Represent the firm at international conferences, industry forums, and other engagements.
- Team Leadership
- Direct line management responsibility for the Head of Responsible Sourcing.
- Foster a collaborative, high-performing culture within the Responsible Sourcing team and oversee professional development of team members.
- Meeting and Committee Attendance
- Attendance at Excom and Leadership meetings to report on Responsible Sourcing deliverables.
- Attendance at Board meetings as an observer.
EDUCATION, QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent higher education essential.
- Significant experience of the precious metals market including global regulations and best practices related to responsible sourcing, supply chain due diligence, and key industry standards such as OECD Due Diligence Guidance.
- Experience engaging with high-level stakeholders, regulators, and international bodies on compliance or sustainability matters.
- Demonstrated experience in developing and executing organisational strategy.
- Proven track record in planning, managing, and delivering complex projects, preferably in sustainability, ESG, or compliance contexts.
- Demonstrated success in leading and developing teams and fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and collaboration.
