Our client is a small but growing manufacturer based in Forfar and are looking to add a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to their team. This is a days/backshift based role including Monday - Friday.
The Role:
- Fault finding and diagnostics in emergency breakdown or planned situations
- Working with a planned maintenance system and reactive maintenance
- Modification and improvement of machinery and the plant
The Candidate:
- Excellent diagnostic and problem solving skills
- Apprentice trained/HNC or equivalent qualification in a mechanical qualification
- Experience within manufacturing would be highly beneficial
- Pumps, conveyors, gearbox maintenance would be looked upon favourably
