Rutherford Cross is delighted to be partnering with a Financial Services business based in Central Edinburgh on a full-time, permanent basis. You will be working within client accounting alongside both trainee and fully qualified accountants. You will be working on the delivery of monthly and quarterly financial reporting.
This role will offer a salary of £30-35k depending on experience. You will be working on site in Edinburgh.
Responsibilities- Preparing monthly and quarterly management accounts
- Preparing VAT returns and compliance with relevant regulations and deadlines
- Assisting Trainee Accountants with the management of accounts payable and accounts receivable ledgers
- Overseeing the preparation of payments and expenses
- Preparing financial statements
- Liaising with auditors and tax advisers and arranging timely filing of returns
- Part Qualified Assistant Accountant – ACCA is desired and the client will support you through the qualification and exams
- Experience in preparing management accounts and financial statements
- Experience in Xero and Microsoft 365
- VAT experience would be beneficial
