We have a wonderful role for a professional and experienced nanny. Join a down-to-earth family as their first nanny, supporting them as they welcome their first baby into the world. The role will begin at the end of May 2025, during the mother’s maternity leave, with the baby being 3 months old. By August 2025, when the baby is 6 months old, the mother will return to full-time work, and the role will transition to sole charge as both parents have demanding jobs outside the home. The nanny must live within a reasonable commute to Shoreditch and be happy to work 12-hour days.

To accommodate the long hours, the family is considering a 9-month contract but would be happy to extend if the nanny wishes to continue.

Key Details:

Child: Baby boy, 3 months old at the start of the role

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 6:30 am – 6:30 pm

The Candidate must have a minimum of 10 years as a professional nanny with expertise in newborn care.

Skills: Proficient in sleep training and creating structured newborn schedules.

Qualifications: Maternity training or a similar certification is highly desirable, not essential as experience is more important to the family.

Languages: It would be a plus if the candidate speaks Spanish or Mandarin, reflecting the family’s cultural heritage (the father is Spanish, and the mother is Chinese). This is not an essential requirement.

Driving: A driver would be a plus but is not essential.

Additional Information:

Household: There are no pets, and the family employs a weekly cleaner, ensuring the nanny’s focus remains on childcare.
