As a Norwich Pilot you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. An exciting opportunity to join a leading provider of mission-critical helicopter services to the air ambulance, police and offshore sectors. The business provides world-class operations to customers helping them to save lives and protect communities every day. Day-to-day, you will operating EC135 and EC145 aircraft in a variety of roles. The position is for a Captain position based in Norwich operating on the H145 D3 Helicopter and offers varied and challenging flying across a range of disciplines including HEMS and NVIS operations. The successful candidate will be required to maintain the highest standards of professional expertise and safety throughout the conduct of this challenging role. Duties and Responsibilities: Fly for the the air ambulance, police and offshore sectors. Health and safety responsibilities and strong understanding of required Aviation regulations Experience of night tasking Skills and Qualifications: 1000 hours pilot in command of aircraft of which 500 hours is pilot in command on twin turbine helicopters or 1000 hours as co-pilot in HEMS operations of which 500 hours is as pilot in command under supervision and 100 hours pilot in command of twin turbine helicopters. 2000 hours minimum total helicopter experience. 500 hours operating experience in twin turbine helicopters in an operational environment similar to the intended operation. 20 hours VMC at night as pilot in command. Current or Recent HEMS experience. Have experience of flight with Night Vision Goggles. Hold a UK ATPL(H) Be qualified and instrument rated on the EC145.
