We are working with an expanding Building Surveying team in Manchester and seeking a Chartered Building Surveyor to contribute to their continued success. This role offers the opportunity to lead projects, build client relationships, and develop your career within a dynamic consultancy.
Key Responsibilities for the Chartered Building Surveyor:
- Support business development and company growth
- Lead and develop project briefs with clients and senior colleagues
- Maintain and strengthen client relationships
- Conduct site surveys, including measured surveys, condition surveys, and defect analysis
- Assist with project finances, recruitment, mentoring, and team leadership
- Prepare designs, specifications, and tender documentation
- Administer building contracts (JCT & NEC)
- Provide professional surveying services
- Collaborate with clients, contractors, and consultants
Requirements for the Chartered Building Surveyor:
- MRICS Chartered status
- RICS-accredited degree or equivalent
- Experience in commercial, healthcare, or educational properties (public or private sector)
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Strong communication, analytical, and leadership skills
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or REVIT
