Full time, permanent position paying up to £100k basic + OTE 100% UNCAPPED + Benefits. Hybrid: 2-3 days in the London office.

A new and exciting VP, Sales Private Equity position has become available, and I am looking for a results-driven, highly confident, energetic & experienced hunter professional who is looking to level up in their career within a fast growing, dynamic company.

My client is offering a fantastic opportunity for growth with the ability to earn OTE 100% commission (uncapped). Targets are realistic & achievable, with over 40% of the team exceeding quota. In this role you will be responsible for building relationships with new clients and delivering on aggressive growth targets as part of the Private Equity Markets vertical. This position will have new business quota responsibilities of large territory/prospective clients.

This role will include, but is not limited to:

  • Demonstrate the business's value proposition across the entire suite of primary research services
  • Serve as the public face of the company, building strong relationships with key stakeholders
  • Analyse market opportunities and implement structured methodologies to drive growth and revenue
  • Prospect potential clients who fit the onboarding criteria, developing relationships to better understand their broader research needs
  • Oversee the new sales cycle from following up on new business leads
  • Outbound lead generation to closing deals
  • Leverage the Sales Associate team for sales support including prospecting and lead qualification (you can expect to be given 3-4 leads per month)
  • Nurture and track accounts, identify additional opportunities to up-sell and cross-sell during the new account stage
  • Successfully transition a new account to account management team including onboarding handoff, introduction to key client stakeholders, etc.
  • Assist the Regional Head of Sales with user acquisition

To be considered for this role you must have:

  • 4+ years professional experience selling directly or indirectly in a B2B environment, preferably in a similar industry with a large quota and responsibility for complex client negotiations and deals
  • Formal sales training e.g. Challenger
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, negotiating, and time management skills
  • Must be a pure new logo hunter with a strong track record of hitting/exceeding targets
  • Must have sold to Private Equity Firms
  • Subscription sales experience (to do with data)
  • Worked on £50k + deal sizes with sales cycle up to 1 year
  • Excellent networking skills with demonstrable ability to follow up on business leads
  • Ability to manage an extensive pipeline of prospects in various sales stages simultaneously
  • Demonstrated ability to cultivate strong client relationships offering value added, strategic insight into their business
  • Strong demonstration of intellect, drive, executive presence, and sales acumen
  • Ability to develop and conduct effective presentations with c-level contract decision makers
  • Strong presentation skills and must be able to confidently pitch (off the cuff)
  • Aptitude for problem-solving and the ability to determine solutions for customers using a consultative sales approach
  • Self-motivated to reach/exceed sales goals
  • Strong computer proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly in Excel and use of databases
