Join this prestigious independent school as Finance Officer – a key role supporting the Financial Controller to ensure accurate, timely financial management and strategic planning. You will thrive in a dynamic setting where precision, initiative and collaboration are valued.

You will take the lead on billing and credit control, including fee invoicing, direct debits, reconciliations, credit management and payroll support. This is a highly varied role, with a broad input from processing supplier payments and managing petty cash, to producing VAT returns and raising invoices for lettings. With key touchpoints across the school - including parents, suppliers, and leadership - strong communication and organisation skills are essential.

We are looking for a finance professional with:

  • A relevant finance qualification (such as AAT) and strong Excel skills
  • Experience in credit control, payroll, and reconciliations
  • A detail-oriented, proactive mindset with the ability to work independently
  • Experience using iFinance and working within an educational setting
