Blue Arrow is currently recruiting for a Goods In/Out Clerk to join our reputable distribution and logistics client in Burton-on-Trent. You will be part of the warehouse team, ensuring the efficient management of stock entering and leaving the depot for distribution.
Position Details
- Pay Rate: £13.10
- Hours: Monday-Friday, 2pm-10pm
- Location: Burton-on-Trent
Responsibilities include:
- Allocating stock correctly as it moves in and out of the depot
- Flagging and allocating short-dated stock appropriately
- Following customer instructions and preparing pick lists for the warehouse team
- Keeping accurate delivery records
- Identifying and resolving issues efficiently
- Updating databases and systems to maintain accurate information for planning teams
- Acting as the main point of contact for the warehouse, planning team, and customer
Candidate Requirements:
- Relevant experience in a similar role, logistics, or planning
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Ability to operate multiple systems such as SAP, TMS, GTS
- Professional and confident customer service skills
- Fluent in English, both verbal and written
Additional Information:
Successful candidates must pass a drugs and alcohol test during induction and may be tested randomly during employment. The role involves contact with stock containing alcohol.
