At Allied Vehicles we design, develop, and manufacture a wide range of specialist vehicles, including wheelchair accessible vehicles, taxis, and minibuses. In addition to manufacturing vehicles, we also offer a range of aftersales services (onsite and mobile), including servicing, repairs and maintenance and we are Scotland's largest independent parts distributor. We are now recruiting for a Valeter/Driver to join our Sales Team. You will be responsible for ensuring company vehicles are in a clean and roadworthy condition. Hours of work are Monday-Friday, 8.30am-5pm and the salary is £12.60 per hour. This position provides an excellent opportunity to become part of a forward-thinking and dedicated company.

The main duties of the role are:
- To drive vehicles in a safe and lawful manner
- Report all vehicle faults
- Clean vehicles in line with Company standards with the appropriate materials, including cleaning upholstery and carpets when required
- Maintain Company vehicles in a clean and roadworthy condition
- Handle any customer facing situations in a professional manner
- Contribute to the overall housekeeping standards within the workplace
To be effective in this role, you will have:
- Proven experience of cleaning and preparing vehicles.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Strong organisational and time-keeping skills.
