We’re seeking a reliable, dedicated Water Operative to join our Water Department! This role involves essential water mains and service connection work on residential properties. You will be part of a team delivering safe, efficient, and high-quality work to support water infrastructure across the region.
What you’ll be doing:
- Carry out water installation and maintenance work in residential properties, including service and main connections.
- Support the safe and efficient delivery of water services, adhering to standards and procedures.
- Use appropriate tools and equipment for tasks such as pipe laying, repairs, and basic excavation.
- Follow job instructions and site plans to ensure accurate and timely completion of tasks.
- Communicate effectively with team members, residents, and supervisors to provide updates and resolve issues.
- Maintain health and safety standards on site, ensuring minimal disruption to customers.
