About the Role: Action for Children is looking for a passionate Early Years Practitioner to join our dedicated team at Spring Carousel Nursery, located within the vibrant Carousel Children’s Centre. You will play a crucial role in supporting children aged 6 months to 5 years, focusing mainly in our baby room but with flexibility to rotate across rooms as needed. We are looking for someone who is nurturing, enthusiastic, and dedicated to creating a safe and stimulating environment where children can grow and thrive.
Shift Pattern:
- 3 days: 8:00am – 6:00pm
- 1 day: 9:00am – 6:00pm
- 1 day: 8:00am – 1:00pm
About Spring Carousel:
- Operating Hours: Monday – Friday, 7:30am – 6:00pm
- Three spacious classrooms for exploration and learning
- Large garden with a mud kitchen, outdoor play equipment, and forest school area
- On-site playing field for physical development and outdoor adventures
- A nurturing team focused on helping children feel secure, confident, and supported
Requirements:
- NVQ Level 3 in Childcare (or equivalent qualification)
- Experience working in early years settings, especially with babies
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
- Ability to attend a face-to-face interview as part of the selection process
