THE OPPORTUNITY
The beginning of your Mainfreight career starts now! We are looking for a talented and energetic team member to join our Store Team in the operation. Store team are the foundations of our Mainfreight crew. Alongside the team, you work well unsupervised because you are a driven and work-proud person with high standards. You’re keen to roll up your sleeves for a practical and hands-on learning experience at the core of our business.
Day-to-day responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Assisting with the loading or unloading of line-haul road units
- Sorting freight in the depot
- Receiving and manifesting freight for deliveries
- General admin
Shift: 2pm - 11:30pm Monday - Friday
As we promote from within, we fill all roles in the business from team who have started on the floor.

- A great attitude, work ethic and be self-motivated
- A professional appearance and taking pride in your work
- The ability to work under pressure
- 100% compliance with all Health and Safety regulations and putting team safety first
- Be a team player who will help out where needed
- Flexibility with work hours
- DG license - Preferred but not necessary
- Forklift license - Preferred but not necessary
- Experience in a similar position is preferred but not essential
