Initial placement within the salary range depends on relevant knowledge, skills, and experience.   • Greet and acknowledge each guest promptly, escorting them to their seat.
  • Communicate with servers about seated guests.
  • Answer phones and handle reservations as needed.
  • Verify reservations before seating guests.
  • Inform guests of wait times and recommend beverage outlets.
  • Seat guests according to rotation, distribute menus, and explain daily specials.
  • Know all specials and menu items, including preparation details.
  • Handle guest complaints courteously and resolve promptly.
  • Attend pre-shift meetings.
  • Coordinate with kitchen regarding specials and availability.
  • Maintain knowledge of menu items and preparation methods.
  • Adhere to PLCB and RG standards and RAMP protocols.
  • Answer guest inquiries about racing, slots, and wagering.
  • Process payments efficiently using POS systems to assist servers.
  • Keep work areas clean and compliant with health standards.
  • Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth operations.
