Main duties of the job include managing waiting lists and booking patients. This role requires excellent communication skills, the ability to multitask, and to stay calm under pressure.

Person Specification:

  • Qualification: Good standard of education: GCSE Maths and English A - CNVQ Level 3 or equivalent, or experience working in a busy office environment.
  • IT knowledge: Including Microsoft Office.
  • Desirable Criteria: Understanding of medical terminology/NHS experience; Experience working with NHS systems.

Skills:

  • Experience in an acute hospital, GP practice, or call centre environment.
  • Experience working with the general public.
  • Ability to speak Welsh.
  • Desirable Skills: Experience with NHS systems; Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Experience:

  • Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, telephone).
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
