Vector are proud to be working in partnership with an established roofing contractor renowned for delivering trusted, high-quality roofing services across commercial and residential sectors. Our client is seeking an experienced Roofing Contract Manager to lead the successful delivery of multiple roofing contracts and play a key role in expanding the business.
Role Overview:
As Roofing Contract Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day delivery of live projects, ensuring works are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest safety and quality standards. You will manage site teams and subcontractors, liaise with clients, and maintain commercial and operational control. This role also carries a business development aspect, with the expectation that you will help grow the department by securing new work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the delivery of multiple roofing contracts (planned and responsive)
- Oversee site teams and subcontractors to ensure performance and compliance
- Ensure adherence to health and safety legislation and company procedures
- Attend client meetings, provide progress updates, and maintain relationships
- Collaborate with commercial teams on budgets, variations, and contract delivery
- Conduct quality inspections to ensure all works meet agreed specifications
- Support project planning, programming, and seamless handovers
- Identify and secure new business opportunities to support the growth of the department
Candidate Requirements:
- Proven experience in a similar leadership role within roofing
- In-depth knowledge of pitched and flat roofing systems
- Background in managing social housing contracts or public sector frameworks
- Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
- Sound understanding of H&S legislation, CDM regulations, and site compliance
- Commercial awareness and the ability to manage budgets and performance
- CSCS card
- Full UK driving licence
