We’re currently looking for a Part-Time Nanny in the Pewley Down area (Guildford). A lovely family in Guildford is looking for a warm, reliable, and proactive nanny to care for their sweet and talkative 3.5-year-old daughter during the afternoons. This is a part-time, long-term role, perfect for an experienced sitter who enjoys building connections with the families they work with.
Schedule: Tuesday – Friday, 3:30pm to 6:00pm
Start Date: ASAP
End Date/Length of Position: Long-term / Ongoing
Rate: £13–16/hr based on experience
Responsibilities:
- Basic childcare and engaging play (reading, games, chatting)
- Tidying up after meals/snacks and playtime
- Occasional simple meal prep
- Maintaining a calm and organized environment
Requirements:
- 2+ years of child care experience with preschool-aged child(ren)
- CPR certified
- Able to pass background and social media checks
- Able to provide two references from paid childcare roles
- Comfortable commuting to Pewley Down (parking available or comfortable with a ~15 min walk from bus stop)
The family is looking for care approximately 10 hours per week, Tuesday–Friday afternoons.
