We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented BMS (Building Management System) Installation Electrician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, wiring, and commissioning support of building automation systems, including HVAC controls, lighting systems, energy meters, and other related infrastructure. You will ensure all work complies with electrical codes, technical drawings, and project specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install and wire BMS control panels, sensors, actuators, and field devices in accordance with drawings and schematics.
  • Read and interpret electrical and mechanical plans to determine wiring layouts and installation procedures.
  • Perform cable routing, termination, and testing of low-voltage control systems.
  • Collaborate with BMS engineers, HVAC technicians, and other trades on-site to ensure smooth integration of systems.
  • Perform system checks and pre-commissioning tasks to support final commissioning.
  • Adhere to health, safety, and environmental regulations and company policies.
  • Accurately document installation progress and update wiring diagrams as needed.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve basic technical issues during installation.
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and materials in good working condition.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Fully qualified electrician (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent) with a valid ECS/JIB card (or equivalent).
  • Proven experience installing BMS or building automation systems.
  • Strong understanding of electrical wiring and control system installations.
  • Ability to read and work from technical drawings and control schematics.
  • Experience working on commercial projects.
  • You must have an active CSCS Card.
